Silver Guilloche Enamel Lily Brooch by Ivar T Holth

This delightful silver guilloche enamel Lily brooch is in a beautiful light green hue and comes from one of the most formidable Norwegian enamelers and silversmiths - Ivar T Holth. Ivar T Holth registered his Norwegian silversmith business in 1943 and continued producing quality jewellery until the early 2000s. Holth jewellery is recognised for its fine guilloche enameling. In common with other Norwegian silver jewellery, Holth's popular pieces take the form of flowers, leaves and butterflies. The company also produced beautifully enameled Victorian revival style jewellery. Genuine Holth jewellery is marked with an H in a circle and marked either 830S Norway or 925S Sterling to indicate the silver content.
