Antique Silver & Tortoiseshell Ring Box

Here we have a delightful silver circular ring box dating back to 1920-21 and made by the famous workshop of Henry Matthews. The lid of the ring box has a scalloped border and an inset tortoiseshell complete with a silver wreath that allows light to pass though the lid and cast a wonderful light on the contents when the sunshine alights on it. The interior is finished in pale blue silk and has a similar coloured silk cushion to the base. Externally the underside is completed with a turqoise leather.
