Item Details
From the late Victorian age we bring you a solid silver MIZPAH brooch. ‘Mizpah’ - meaning ‘Emotional Bond’ - was often exchanged or gifted between people who were lovers or close friends and might be separated from each other for an amount of time. Mizpah jewellery was first popular during the Victorian era, and then again later in the 1900s when the men went off to fight in World War I.
