Bronze 19th Century French Jewellery Casket by T&E Paris

A high quality, luxury antique French gilt brass and gilt bronze jewellery casket, bearing the makers mark ..."T&E Paris" to the base. The exterior of the casket has romantic scenes to; the lid, each of the longest sides, whilst the terminal ends are decorated with the tools, wares and personal items of the gardener lover. Internally, the casket is furnished with a paling and lightly worn (but complete) purple silk pad to inside of the lid. The The well sides and floor are completed in the same purple silk applied to the four walls and the well floor.
