Lexi Dick Silver Gilt Owl Brooch - London 2003

Ref: P23 - 43
Sold
A very well executed silver gilt brooch in the form of an owl from the renowned Lexi Dick. Lexi studied jewellery at the Royal College of Art, and is a Liveryman of the Goldsmiths' Company. She works in her own studio in Hoxton, making a range of sensibly priced figurines and jewellery. She also produces larger pieces and counts Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 10 Downing Street, Lady Thatcher and many of the livery companies among her clients. She also makes patterns for the wider jewellery trade. Three-dimensional wax modelling is one of her specialities, with animals, real and mythological a favourite subject area. This wonderful owl is beautifully executed, fully hallmarked and clearly identified by Lexi's personal assay mark.
