Silver Sword Brooch Kilt Pin by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths

As with many items of jewellery, this beautifully made brooch has; light surface scratching, a pin that is no longer laser straight. That said it is a good gauge and functions very well. The brooch itself shows evidence of having had a gilt finish to the handle and guard originally. Not surprisingly, an item now in the mid eighties years old and so elegant, everyday wear has removed most of the gilt. Hallmarks are clear and complete for the London Assay Office.
