Item Details
Here we have two small glass table salts in the form of cygnets, complete with retracting wings of silver. One is stamped 835 AB ZII, the manufacturer of this being August Betz, a silverware factory from Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany and it was probably made in the 1950's. One wing has a rose decoration and the other an open flower. The body is made of crystal glass and is divided into 2 compartments on the inside. The second one is unmarked but appears very similar again with retractable wings decorated with roses. One weighs 125g and the other 91g.
There is a larger version also available in a separate listing which would make a stunning centrepiece for dressing any table for dinner.
